About me
My name is Blake Loatman, a 17-year-old freelance photographer hailing from West Philadelphia, PA. Currently, I am a student at West Catholic Preparatory High School, graduating in '25. My lens captures a diverse range of subjects, spanning from high school to college athletics, cars, and fashion. The inspiration for my craft stems from witnessing my father, Bruce Loatman, navigate the photography world and seize countless opportunities. I have been accompanying him on significant assignments since I was 8 years old. I’ve been his assistant and he’s helped me learn the ins and outs of the business. Forging my own path in the industry has been an incredible journey. Versatility defines my approach to photography; I refuse to confine myself to one niche. Embracing various styles and subjects ensures that no creative challenge remains insurmountable and broadens my horizons for future opportunities. Each day, photography gifts me with new insights, reinforcing my belief that "Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second." – Marc Riboud
